If you are travelling to Munich and you need to reach Munich city centre you need to know it is located around 30 km away from Munich Airport, and that MUC Airport offers you good bus lines to travel between these 2 points.

Lufthansa Express Bus

This is a very useful service which connects Munich Airport with Munich city centre with a frequency of 15 miuntes, both from MUC Airport and from Munich city centre. The single ticket costs 10,50€ and the returning ticket 17€. At Munich Airport you’ll find a Bus stop from both terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, but also at Munich Airport Center (MAC). At Munich Terminal 2 the Lufthansa Express Bus service starts at 06:30h and finishes at 22:30h. At Munich Terminal 1 (A) the Lufthansa Express Bus service starts at 06:34h and finishes at 22:34h. At Munich Airport Center (MAC) the service starts at 06:36h and finishes at 22:36h and at Munich Airport Terminal 1 (D) the service starts at 06:39h and finishes at 22:39h. The ride takes 45 minutes until the Munich Hauptbahnhof (main station).
From Munich city centre the same service starts at Munich Hauptbahnhof (main station) at 05:15h and finishes at 20:00h.
